Operator Certification Training - Mining Skills Australia

The Nauru Rehabilitation Corporation, with the assistance of Mining Skills Australia, conducted training for excavator and truck operators on the island from November 10 to 19, 2025. This initiative forms part of the corporation’s broader strategy to strengthen its operational capability. Participants who completed the training will receive their certificates of completion.

The programme comprised three essential components—theory, practical, and test—and was directly supervised by accredited trainer Mr Mark Blackburn. He delivered the sessions through presentations, visual aids, one-on-one discussions, and hands-on evaluations, with additional support from LAAMP, a globally recognised online learning and assessment platform that provides modern, integrated educational experiences.

Seventeen (17) operators completed all program requirements and passed their assessments, and they now await official certification. Nauru Rehabilitation Corporation proudly congratulates these team members on their achievements.
